Boat sinking accidents of Haripur Ghat and Moutala Ghat on the Astami Sunday (6th April 1949) with Hindu passengers resulting the death of 9 persons have been inquired into and the result of the inquiry communicated to the communication Buildings and Irrigation Department for further action.
