TI  - In reply to their request for the release of nine gunny bags containing election materials and a hurricane lanterns seized at Dinajpur by the Pakistan Land Custom Officer from Sri R. Sanyal a Sub-Deputy Collector and Presiding Officer of Durgapur Election Center in West Dinajpur the Government of West Bengal was informed that the transit procedure agreed between two dominion was not followed by Mr. Sanyal. The articles were however released on the 23rd November, 1948
