Protest was made by the Government of West Bengal regarding the arrest of three Assistant Sub-Inspector and five constables of West Bengal at Ranka, Rajshahi. The matter was thoroughly enquired in to and found that their arrest and detention was justified. The Police partly were released shortly after their arrest. The Government of West Bengal were informed accordingly
