Rack No. 34, Bundle No. 06, Sl No. 268 In reply to their reference the Government of West Bengal have been informed that there are no grounds for the revision of the assessment of the rent of the house and there was no furniture in the house when its possession was taken Rack No. 34, Bundle No. 06, Sl No. 269 West Bengal Governments complaints regarding the requisition of the house “Bina Bhaban” at Barisal belonging to Dr. Upendra Nath Chakrabarty has been enquired into and reply sent Rack No. 34, Bundle No. 06, Sl No. 270 In reply to his reference the Deputy High Commissioner for India in Pakistan Dacca, has been informed that the consignment was seized while crossing the border without any license but has later on released under order of the Collector at Central Excise, Chittagong Rack No. 34, Bundle No. 06, Sl No. 271 In reply to the complaint regarding requisition of the house of Babu Bimalendu Roy of Naogaon in the District of Rajshahi, the Government of West Bengal informed that a vacant house was requisitioned and was subsequently of de-requisitioned when demanded by the owner of the house Rack No. 34, Bundle No. 06, Sl No. 272 In reply to a reference made by them the Government of West Bengal were informed that the house had been restored to the owner Rack No. 34, Bundle No. 06, Sl No. 273 In reply to his reference the Indian Deputy High Commissioner, Dacca has been informed that the rent of the house has been fixed at Rs. 32 per month and the owner has been asked to receive payment from the Estate officer, Dacca personally or through authorized agents. Rack No. 34, Bundle No. 06, Sl No. 274 In reply to their reference the Government of West Bengal have been informed that the phial of car peptic liquid was released and handed over to Mr. Das on 23rd October 1948
