Amin Miah a crew of the British ship wye Valrey was shot dead by a Rumanian Guard to Gallery on 17th May 1949. A Compensation of Rs. 10000 was claimed to Rumanian Government the Rumanian Government refused to pay the amount and shifted the balance on the British Shipping Company and there the matter ended.
